New Khet Set Up Configurations

Khet Players UK have been working on New Set Up Configurations and here, with their names, you can try them out and enjoy (although they are 4 years old now).  If you want to adapt the starting configurations of Khet 2.0 with the old Khet board, just replace Anubis with the Obelisks instead.

If you have any of your own configurations and would like us to try them out, you are quite welcome to let us know. We will put the best ones on this website and give you the credit for it. These games devised by Bryan M Cox of the Khet Players

Khufu

This is Khufu Set up configuration

This is an Easy set up configuration with a good defence and not much for attack but is also loved by players.

Imseti

The Award winning Set up configuration Imseti

This configuration was voted best set up during the Khet Players UK competition 2007 where people were asked to play one of four versions, this was the most popular. Easy set up

Nefertiti

This is Nefertiti starting configuration and popular

This is a Hard starting set up but you will need a bit of thought before you make you next move.

Rameses

Rameses is very popular set up for a starting configuration

This is a Medium set up again with good attack and defence.

Amarna

This is an OK beguinners set up other than the official original set ups

This set up seemed good at the time but I don't like it that much. It is an easy set up and Easy strategy.

Saqqara

A good challenging starting configuration for defence and attack

This is a Medium set up that is good for defence and attack and is popular.

Djoser's Step

This is my favourite set up, you have to break up the defence to attack

This is a Hard starting configuration that starts off defencive that you have to break in order to attack. Very popluar with strategists.

Horemheb

Another challenging starting configuration that will have you wheeling around the board

Another Hard set up where you have to think hard before you make a move. Popular with the high ender game players.

Senet

A hard but challenging set up for those who don't want an easy ride

This is a Hard set up with good defence rather than attack.

Tutankhamun

I love this starting configuration just wonderful

This is a Hard set up with good defence and attack.

Ebana

An easy starting configuration for those who are just learning how to play Khet

This is an Easy set up.

Qa'a

Some poeple love this set up

This is an Easy set up with good defence and average attack.

Ay (version one)

This was given to me as a challenge to have two Pharoahs next to each other, I hope you like this set up

This was set as a challenge for me about starting with the Pharaoh's next to each other. I found this a good set up and it was the best of two set ups. I hope you enjoy this one too.

Ay (version two)

Here is the second version for you to try let me know which you think is the best

Here is the same name but a different set up configuration, let me know which you like best.

A new set up by Jeff Calhoun has been discovered on the board game geek.  His set up is called Sphinx and uses the Eye Of Horus, two single Obelisks and one stacked around the Pharaoh.  We bring it here for you to look at and use. Please note that the Red missing Pyramids (2 of them) should be in the same position as the silver, that is in front of the single Obelisks, side by side of the Stacked Obelisk and diagonally to the Pharaoh.
